Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Reinvented website and your participation in any Reinvented programme. By using our website or joining a programme, you agree to these terms.

About These Terms

These terms are between you and Re-Invented Limited, trading as Reinvented, a private company limited by guarantee registered in England and Wales, company number 17452414, registered office 60 Firs Lane, Leigh, WN7 4SB.

They apply to anyone who uses our website, or who takes part in a Reinvented programme, including Training, Mentorship, Events, Consultation or DigiSafe, whether as a participant, parent or guardian, mentor, volunteer, or partner organisation. By using our website or joining a programme, you accept these terms. Where a participant is under 18, a parent or guardian, or a school acting on their behalf, must also accept these terms on their behalf.

These terms work alongside, and do not replace, our Privacy Policy and our Safeguarding Policy, which continue to apply in full.

You may use this website to learn about our work, apply for a programme, book onto an event, or get in touch. You agree to use it lawfully, not to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to it, and not to post or submit anything abusive, false or infringing on someone else’s rights through any form on the site.

We try to keep the information on our website accurate and up to date, but we make no guarantee that it is complete or error-free, and we may change or remove content at any time.

All content on this website, including text, images and our name and logo, belongs to Re-Invented Limited or its licensors unless stated otherwise, and may not be copied or reused without permission, except for your own personal, non-commercial reference.

Our website may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of sites we do not control, and a link does not mean we endorse them.

Training, Mentorship, Events and Consultation, including DigiSafe, are each open to the people they are designed for, as described on our website; we may ask reasonable questions to check eligibility and fit, and we may decline or limit places where a programme is oversubscribed or not the right fit for someone’s needs.
Booking or applying for a place, whether through our website, by email or in person, is a request to join, not a guarantee of a place until we confirm it. Where a programme or event is free, such as the Reinvent Your Life Conference, a confirmed booking still reserves a place that others could otherwise use, so we ask that you let us know as early as possible if you can no longer attend.
Some programmes may involve activity at a partner venue or school. Where that is the case, you also agree to follow that venue or school’s own reasonable rules while on their premises.

We ask everyone taking part in a Reinvented programme, as a participant, mentor, volunteer or facilitator, to treat others with dignity and respect, to attend as agreed or give reasonable notice, and to follow any reasonable instructions given for health, safety or safeguarding reasons.

Where children, young people or adults at risk take part, including through DigiSafe, our full Reinvented  Safeguarding Policy applies and takes priority over anything in these terms that might conflict with it. A serious or repeated breach of this code of conduct, including behaviour that puts someone’s safety at risk, may lead to someone being asked to leave a session, event or programme, as set out in Suspending or Ending Involvement below.

Most Reinvented activity, including the Reinvent Your Life Conference and much of our Training, Mentorship and DigiSafe delivery, is offered free or at a subsidised cost, often funded by grants, commissioners or partners. Where a programme or consultation does carry a fee, this will be made clear before you book, along with how and when payment is due.

If you need to cancel a paid booking, tell us as soon as possible. [Cancellations more than [X] days before the start date receive a full refund; cancellations after that point may not be refundable, as we may already have committed costs on your place.] Where we need to cancel, postpone or materially change a programme or event, we will let you know as soon as we can and offer a refund or an alternative place where a fee was paid.

We reserve the right to decline a refund where someone is removed from a programme for a serious breach of the code of conduct above.

Training materials, workbooks, slide decks, branding and other content we provide as part of a Reinvented programme remain the intellectual property of Re-Invented Limited or the relevant rights holder. You are welcome to use them for your own personal learning and development, but you may not copy, resell, publish or distribute them commercially without our written permission.
If you create something as part of a programme, such as a business plan, CV or portfolio piece, that remains yours. Where we ask to use something you have created, said or shared, such as a testimonial, case study or photograph, for our own marketing or reporting, we will ask for your consent first, in line with our Privacy Policy.

We put genuine care into our training, mentorship, events and consultation, but reinvention depends on many things outside our control, so we do not guarantee any particular outcome, such as securing a job, qualification or funding, from taking part.

To the extent permitted by law, Re-Invented Limited’s liability to you for loss or damage arising from your use of our website or participation in a programme is limited to direct losses that were reasonably foreseeable, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of income or opportunity.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under English law.

We are not responsible for the actions of independent third parties, such as employers, venues or other organisations we refer you to or work alongside, except where we have failed to take reasonable care in selecting or managing that relationship.

We may suspend or end someone’s involvement in a programme, session or event, with as much notice as the circumstances reasonably allow, where:

  • Continuing would put the safety of that person, other participants, staff, mentors or volunteers at risk;
  • There has been a serious or repeated breach of the code of conduct above;
  • A safeguarding concern means continued participation would conflict with our Safeguarding Policy; or
  • A programme is no longer viable, for example because it has lost its funding, though we will try to find an alternative where we can.

You can also choose to end your own involvement in a programme at any time by telling us. Ending involvement does not affect any rights or obligations that have already arisen, such as any refund terms under Fees, Cancellations and Refunds above.

Complaints: If something has gone wrong, we would like the chance to put it right. Tell us using the contact details below, and we aim to acknowledge a complaint within [two working days] and respond in full within [ten working days]. A safeguarding concern is handled separately and immediately under our Safeguarding Policy, not through this complaints process.

Governing law: These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms: We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect a change in our programmes or the law. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated, and continuing to use our website or take part in a programme after a change means you accept the updated terms.
